# Martha Camarillo, des clichés comme des tableaux

Vous aimez la mise en scène, les tableaux sur pellicule, le sens du détail, les fouillis esthétiques, les explosions contrôlées de couleurs, les chocs visuels,… alors vous aimerez [Martha Camarillo](http://www.marthacamarillo.com/aboutmartha.html?ref=apar.tv). Certes son travail va plus loin que la simple beauté. *« Pour moi, la photographie est un outil pour la sociologie »*. Et c’est vrai que Martha montre, au sens le plus noble du terme. Son dernier grand projet, à la fois un livre et un film, est l’histoire d’un quartier chaud du centre de Philadelphie, où la vie sociale ne se maintient que grâce à l’élevage de… chevaux. Certes, une peintre qui n’a certainement jamais touché un pinceau de sa vie, mais la dernière fois que nous nous étions perdus dans une telle exploration visuelle, c’était lors de notre dernière visite au Louvre.
