[Finlay Mackay](http://finlaymackay.com/?ref=apar.tv) est bien un artiste, avec le parcours classique d’enseignement en passant par la School of Art de Glasgow avant de se rendre à Londres. Pourtant, à regarder son portfolio, on se dit que l’Écossais fonctionne comme un photo-reporter, marchant par thème, cherchant toujours à faire passer un message très contemporain. Évidemment, il y a le beau. Des clichés travaillés comme des tableaux, une lumière maîtrisée de façon ostentatoire, une mise en scène véritablement cinématographique. Mais tout ça ne trouve tout son sens qu’avec le titre. Comme une photo de presse qui reste muette sans sa légende.
