Que se passe-t-il quand on veut devenir une photographe reconnue ? On s’épuise à la tâche. On travaille à n’en plus pouvoir. C’est peut-être de ce constat qu’est partie [Anouk Kruithof](http://www.anoukkruithof.nl/?ref=apar.tv) pour proposer au festival d’Hyères un travail à la fois original, passionnant et parfaitement réalisé. [*The Daily Exhaustion*](http://www.anoukkruithof.nl/?ref=apar.tv) (L’épuisement quotidien) est un petit journal de 48 pages qui contient *« 23 autoportraits d’une artiste obsédée par le travail qui atteint l’état d’épuisement »*. La Néerlandaise de 30 ans s’est particulièrement appliquée au choix de couleurs vivent qui rendent toute l’énergie d’une travailleuse acharnée, et qui tranchent avec le visage épuisée du modèle. *« The Daily Exhaustion est d’une nature ambiguë, le travail s’affiche comme une série photographique sciemment construite et bien cadrée, alors que la nature même des images – spontanées, exsudant l’énergie – semblent vouloir déborder de ce cadre. »* Comme le dit l’écrivaine française, Muriel Cerf, *« la vie d’artiste est un bagne secret »*.
